World Hip Hop Championships Street dance crews from across the nation and the world are bringing their best moves to Los Angeles with the hope of taking home the top bragging rights and titles in the 2005 USA and World Hip Hop Championships. Tagged "the Olympics of Hip Hop dance", participants serve up old school and new school moves in two-minute performances. Dance crews consisting of five to eight members are divided into Junior (ages 7-12), Varsity (ages 12-17) and Adult (18+). 'Breaking Battles', featuring top B-Boys, are also a part of both championships. Represented are Japan, Brazil, Trinidad & Tobago, UK, Italy, Ireland, Philippines, and more. Celebrity choreographers HiHat (Missy Elliott) and Shane Sparks ("You Got Served" and B2K) are among the judges. |
