“Elements of Zindagi” (Elements of Life). Earth, Wind, Water and Fire.

Come and celebrate the diversity and richness of Caribbean cultures through fashion, arts and music at Notting Hill Carnival 2006.
The journey begns on Monday 28 August where, “The Elements” will be featured in full force at the forefront of B.W.I.A Cocoyea’s presentation for Notting Hill Carnival 2006 “Catwalk”.
The unique and extravagant designs will be presented in dramatic choreography by a man whose vision and skill is unmatched in this area, Reuben P. Joseph to launch his Pomerac label.

Mothers of the Earth: One for the purists of creation. A timeless classic drawing on inspiration from the far Eastern shores will feature Saris from India and Pakistan. These will include a combination of colours of copper, brown, bronze and gold cutting through the eclipse of modern times.

Reflections: Sure to feature cool and enticing designs in corpora ting colours of sky, sea, and electric blues with a touch of silver. Look out for the straight cut trousers adorned with diamonds and sequins bra top with matching duppatta. Lose yourself in the Reflections of Water.

Escapade: Alluring yet chic, elegance clashes with excitement. This section has the element of wind, as its themes will show shades of white through palazzo trousers and silver halter or off shoulders satin tops, to be complemented with white chiffon duppattas edged in silver applicates. This section also features men in white cotton dhoti with matching waistcoat, turbans and huge white satin flags in their hands that captures them escaping into the Wind.

Heat: Provocative and enticing, it ignites the sensuality of passion. Features would be the blazing of red and full lengthen orange tye dyed skirts with outrageously high slits lined in red satin. This section also features matching spaghetti tops complemented by red and gold chiffon duppatta.
