The Charity Event for Yvette (Midas) Philbert

On the 27th of August one of the members of Trinis in London and the Carnival fraternity , Yvette Philbert (aka Midas) lost her home and all her possesion to a fire. This charity event was held in her honor at the Caribbean Blue restaurant on Bruce Grove, Tottenham, 8/10/2006.

The hosts of this event were Wen D and Ruben Joseph with special appearence by Soca Banton and the Djs were Rebel D, Soca Massive and Zoomer D. Prizes were given out by the Runner up in the recent Ms Trinidad and Tobago United Kingdom Beauty show, Ms Tovalin Bartholemew, Miss Trinis in London Eleanor Downer and Yvette Philbert.

Some lucky guy even won a date with a sexy lady!
