Banton is monarch The first ever British Soca / Soca Chutney monarch competition was held on the 27th November 2005 at the Wessex House night club by Carivog International headed by Angela Cox. There were many great performances but the winner on the night was Soca Bantan of the Iron Fist Productions label. Soca Bantan , real name Gordon Agard contacted us and this is what he had to say. " Hi it's Soca Bantan, its a great pleasure to win the first ever British Soca Monarch crown. To all the people who came out to support and all the fans who love soca music, this one is for you.
