Waltham Forest Young People Carnival


Ascham Homes Ltd is working with the London Borough of Waltham Forest and Mas Art to produce the Carnival Young People Event. The theme is ‘Global Patterns’.

Are you aged 6 -16 years? Do you want to learn creative design? Costume making? And take part in displaying the costume that you make.

The children will work with a first class designer from Mas Arts to create a spectacular costume to be displayed along a procession route at the Young People Carnival event on Sunday 15th July 2007.

There are 20 places available on a first come basis and there will be 7 workshops for children to be take part in.

Workshop Details;
Start Date: Friday 1ST June 2007 and every Friday until;
End Date: Friday 13th July 2007
Time: 4.30pm – 6.30pm

Venue: The Tenants Resource Centre,
195 Wood Street, Walthamstow, E17 3NU.

Light refreshments will be provided. All children must be supervised by an adult for the duration of the workshop.

Why don’t you get involved in costume design and production? Display your costume as part of the Carnival Procession.
